The Premier League is back! After being put on ice for almost three months thanks to the Coronavirus crisis, top flight English football returns to stadiums - albeit empty ones - and TV screens this week.

Needing just two wins to seal their first league title in thirty years, Liverpool's dream of being crowned champions looks like being a formality, with the Reds ahead but could the weight of expectation cause Jurgen Klopp's side to stumble?

Arguably the more intriguing battles that are left to play out come in both the race for European qualification and in the fight for survival at the foot of the table.

Man City rest in second, a hefty 25 points behind Liverpool. While that would normally earn Pep Guardiola's team a spot in next season's Champions League, City are currently facing a ban from UEFA for breaking financial fair play rules. That potentially opens up a Euro spot for another team in the pecking order, with Leicester, Chelsea, Man United, Wolves and league newcomers Sheffield United all going into this set of delayed fixtures with a legitimate chance of European qualification.

Meanwhile, at the foot of the table, its looking like any three from six teams face the drop. Norwich are marooned at the bottom with 21 points and looked doomed with Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Watford, West Ham and Brighton all fighting to preserve their Premier League status.
