Beta users can start testing the new app right away.
If you have an Android phone, there's a really good chance you've used Pushbullet at one point or another. The app's ability to sync texts, notifications, and more across all of your devices is incredibly powerful, and today, its Android app is getting its first major update in what feels like forever.
The biggest change with this update has to do with in-app navigation. Gone is the hamburger menu on the left for getting around. In its place is a shiny bottom navigation bar! Here you'll find tabs for Pushing, Mirroring, SMS, Channels, and Account. This brings these important buttons closer within reach, follows the design we're seeing in a lot of other Android apps, and when you're doing something like typing, they can quickly disappear from view.
Pushbullet's also made it so that your navigation and status bars match the color of what's being displayed on the app, the app icon is now adaptive, and if you're a Pro user, you've got access to a stunning dark mode.
If you want to start using the new Pushbullet app right now, you'll need to sign up for the open beta. If you'd rather wait, Pushbullet says that it should have the update "out to everyone soon."
