Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Staff pick
After giving us just a brief glimpse at the fan favorite Miles Morales in 2018's Spider-Man, Insomniac Games is back with a full-fledged game starring the character. While not a completely separate title, this standalone experience is much more than just an add-on, and will act as one of the PS5's launch titles when it releases this month.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the latest entry in the long-running Assassin's Creed franchise, and will allow players to tackle a story centered around Vikings. Playing as Eivor, you'll once again find yourself entangled with the Brotherhood of Assassins. Valhalla will launch for PS4 on Nov. 10, with a PS5 version launching two days later.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure
LittleBigPlanet was one of the biggest games when the PS3 launched years ago, and has seen various games launch in the universe ever since. The latest addition to that is Sackboy: A Big Adventure, which will be a full 3D platformer starring Sackboy. Like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy will also act as a launch title for the PS5.

Now, Bluepoint Games — the same company that remade Shadow of the Colossus — is tackling the classic, and it'll be a launch title for the PS5, as well as a console exclusive for the time being.

What are you playing?
November is notoriously one of the biggest months when it comes to video game releases, but this year is a bit different. With the PlayStation 5 launching, a whole new generation of consoles is upon us, including some heavily anticipated launch titles like the Demon's Souls remake, Bugsnax, and Godfall. Of course, there's plenty of other big titles that are releasing and will be available on both the PS4 and PS5, including Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Outside of the new console launching, November still has a ton of amazing titles set to launch this month. The long-running franchise of Assassin's Creed is set to return, with Assassin's Creed Valhalla releasing this month. Alongside that, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is also launching, as well as the remake of XIII. Needless to say, there's tons of games to choose from this month, whether you're going to be playing on a brand new console or sticking with the current generation for some time.
