The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is expected to be the star of the show at Samsung's virtual Unpacked event tomorrow. Ahead of the big event, press renders of the foldable phone in two colorways have been leaked online, courtesy of popular leaker Evan Blass.
As revealed by a real-world image of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 that had surfaced last week, the foldable phone will have a hole-punch cutout on the right side of the main display. The newly leaked press renders, however, reveal that the external display on the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will also feature a hole-punch cutout.
At the rear, we find a large camera module similar to the Galaxy Note 20 series phones, featuring three sensors. On the bottom of the phone, we can see a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille. Unsurprisingly, a 3.5mm headphone jack is nowhere to be seen.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is expected to have a Snapdragon 865+ chipset under the hood, just like the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and the Galaxy Note 20 series. It is rumored to feature a 7.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Ultra Thin Glass on top. The triple-camera setup on the back of the phone is tipped to include a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is also rumored to have a 6.23-inch Infinity-O cover display and a 4,365mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
