This is the first time the Mi 8 Pro's been sold outside of China.
Xiaomi is steadily becoming one of the world's most important smartphone brands, and on November 8, the company announced that it's officially expanded to the United Kingdom.
To mark its UK debut, Xiaomi's initial product offerings include the Mi 8 Pro, Redmi 6A, Xiaomi Band 3, and Mi Electric Scooter.
The Mi 8 Pro originally debuted in China this May, and it's easily the most exciting of the bunch. It has a 6.21-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 845 processor, IR face unlock system, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Yes, it looks a lot like the iPhone XS, but at least the transparent back gives it a unique sense of flair.
If you want to pick the Mi 8 Pro up for yourself, it'll be available on November 9 at Three, Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse, Currys PC World, Very, Gomobile, Mobile Phones Direct, Katana, and Mi.com. It costs £499.
Xiaomi's other products will cost you the following:
- Redmi 6A — Starts at £99
- Xiaomi Band 3 — £26.99
- Mi Electric Scooter — £399
In addition to the products themselves, Xiaomi's also launching a physical retail store in Westfield London on November 18.
