Black Friday 2018 is approaching, along with tons of deals and discounts on everything from video game consoles to home essentials and more. Earlier today, GameStop's flyer for the sales event was released, coming in as one of the year's shortest at just two pages long. It doesn't pack much of a surprise either, as most of its featured deals will be available at other retailers during the event as well. However, it never hurts to have extra chances to snag a $200 PlayStation or Xbox One S for yourself.

While the recently-released sales advertisement seems a bit light on the deals, there's always the chance GameStop will release a full-length Black Friday ad. Until then, it's definitely worth taking a look at the flyer which was just revealed. Surprisingly, this video game retailer doesn't offer any drastic price drops on game consoles that you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere this Black Friday.

For example, the $200 Xbox One S 1TB Minecraft Bundle it features at the top of the first page is a deal you'll be able to snatch at stores like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. The $200 PlayStation 4 1TB Bundle with Marvel's Spider-Man is also being offered by multiple retailers. You'll also find that other Xbox One S and Xbox One X consoles will be $70 off. One benefit to GameStop's offers on these consoles is that they go live beginning November 18.

DualShock 4 controllers are dropping to $38.99 during the event, just one cent below Walmart's offer of $39, while any potential sale on the Xbox Wireless Controller has been left out of the ad entirely. PlayStation gamers will also be able to score any PSVR bundle at $100 off, matching Best Buy.

Meanwhile, various Xbox and PlayStation games will be up to $40 off their full price. GameStop will also have an offer taking 30% off collectibles with your purchase of a $5 shopping bag.

Store information

If you're interested in shopping at GameStop this Black Friday, you can start early beginning on November 18! The sale is set to last through November 26, though stock could always run out before then. The store opens at 7 A.M., though you can find these deals online at GameStop.com as well.
