Pre-orders are live right now.
Jaybird's long been one of the leading names when it comes to fitness headphones/earbuds, and following up on the X3s that were released in 2016, we've now got an announcement for the Jaybird X4 out of IFA 2018.
The Jaybird X4 looks very similar to the X3 and retains the same general design of two earbuds connected by a wire with a small module for in-line playback controls. This time around, however, Jaybird's designed the X4 to be more durable and comfortable.
On the durability side of things, there's IPX7 waterproofing to protect the X4 from rain, snow, and "accidental submersion." To make sure the Jaybird X4 are easy on your ears, the earbuds come equipped with Jaybird's all-new Comply Ultra foam tips that use thermo-reactive foam to adjust their shape based on the layout of your ear canals.
Along with this, Jaybird's also included its Speed Cinch cord that allows you to quickly adjust the length of the cable so that the fit isn't too tight or loose. There's also 8 hours of music playback, 1 hour of use after 10 minutes of charging, and customizable EQ settings in the Jaybird app.
You can pre-order the Jaybird X4 starting today with global online and retail sales expected to begin in September. Black Metallic/Flash and Metallic/Jade colors will be available everywhere while Storm Metallic/Glacier is exclusive to Best Buy and Jaybird's online store.
Pricing is set at $129.99.
