The Fastest Charging Phone: OnePlus 5T vs iPhone X
With the rise in augmented features and various applications available in our smartphones, we have completely lagged behind somewhere. Our smartphones are no more a mobile phone rather it is a charging phone. The batteries don’t take much time to drain out either.
This issue created a new market for power bank, to carry portable batteries and recharge our phone. However, the issue still lies within; the cell phones take a long time to charge. So the next possible way to solve the issue is to avail fast charging options. Therefore the manufacturers have shifted their focus towards fast charging possibilities.
In today’s world, copying a technology does not take much time. So now the issue lies with the consumers. Which smartphone shall I buy? Or which is the fastest charging phone, when several brands are claiming to have the same feature?
Well, the good news is, it has been tested and the report is in front of you. After a series of test conducted with various smartphones, it has been observed that LG V30 charges up to 53 percent, Pixel 2 reached 38 percent, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 achieved 35 percent of power in the 30-minute span. Whereas, in the case of iPhones, the test was carried out twice, once with 5 Watt and the second time with 29 Watt charger and observations were 58 percent, 55 percent and 37 percent on the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X respectively after a full hour of charging with 5 Watt charger and 50 percent, 49 percent and 47 percent on the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus with 29 Watt charger.
Well, the question is still unanswered: Which smartphone shall I buy? Or which is the fastest charging phone, when several brands are claiming to have the same feature?
It depends on your usage, preference & weight age of the various features you require. Some people don’t need a fast charging phone as they do not have high usage rate; whereas for few who are constantly using numerous apps & features may appreciate a fast charging phone.
Coming to the second question, as per the test conducted, it has been witnessed that the OnePlus 5T hits 59% after 30 minutes of charging, and 93% after an hour. This is considerably much higher than the competitors’ phone. So if you are looking forward of possessing a fast charging phone, then you can add OnePlus 5T in your checklist while purchasing a new phone.
